Welcome to the Celebrations Course!
Global Mission Urban Centers of Influence
The CELEBRATIONS course is a 12-module course on the twelve healthful living principles. CELBRATIONS is an acronym for Choices, Exercise, Liquids, Environment, Belief, Rest, Air, Temperance, Integrity, Optimism, Nutrition, and Social Support. This course will help you improve your own health in a holistic approach. It can also be taught as a community health seminar, as part of an evangelism project, during a health expo, in small groups, and in other venues.
You will learn how to make health improvements to your entire life. You will also learn strategies to deliver this program in your community or other settings. This course is not a portion of a health care practitioner license. It does not give you the right to diagnose, prescribe, or oversee medical treatment of any kind. If you or someone you know is experiencing a chronic medical condition, please contact a family physician. If you or someone you know is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or activate your local emergency response system.
After completing this course, you will earn 1 CEU and a certificate of completion in your Adventist Learning Community e-portfolio.
After completing this course for continuing education credit, you may re-enroll in the course for the purposes of resource retrieval, but not earn any additional CEUs.
The General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Health Ministry Department, led by Dr. Peter Landless, created the CELBRATIONS course. It is also available to the registered user @ urbancenters.org where you can find several additional health ministries courses.
